Screening Offers:

For all I/Ps pending revocation, there is an initial assessment regarding the existence of good cause to retain a parole hold and an offer of revocation time.  This assessment is conducted by a DC assigned to screening calendar.  Screening calendar is located in the revocation unit of each parole region headquarters.  Title 15, Division 2, of the CCRs lists guideline criteria for screening offers.  However, these are simply guidelines and the DC at screening has discretion in assessing an offer.  It is recommended that 0-4 months be assessed for technical violations of parole conditions, 5-9 months for misdemeanors, and 10-12 months for felonies.
