ARMSTRONG INJUNCTION

On December 23, 1999 the United States District Court issued a Permanent Injunction against the BPT. The injunction, among other things, required the BPT to develop and implement policy to address the requirements of the ADA as it applies to inmates and parolees.

On August 4, 2000 the federal court approved the BPT policy.
