If the individual files an Administrative complaint, DOJ will investigate the allegations of discrimination.

Should DOJ conclude that the public entity violated Title II, it will attempt to negotiate a settlement.

If the settlement efforts fail, the matter is referred to DOJ for decision whether to institute litigation.
