ATTENTION DEFICIT HYPERACTIVITY DISORDERS AND REASONABLE ACCOMMODATIONS:
Learning disorders and ADHD are related but different. Both are neurological in nature and are considered physical or mental impairments.
Effective communication with inmates/parolees with ADHD may require using basic communication skills in a patient, respectful, and dignified manner, avoiding big words or complicated concepts.
